Saddleback is a dark marking that usually shows on the top-line of the warhound, called so because it covers an area similar to a saddle on a horse.

• Make sure it’s mostly hard edged in order to not look too much like sable.
• Natural shaping.
• Should follow the curvature of the back much like the examples below.
